Ancient Crocodile Found in Thailand | fossil
A new species of fossil crocodile that lived about 100 million years ago has been found in Thailand.
Komsom Lauprasert, a scientist at Mahasarakham University, said that the crocodile species have longer legs than modern crocodiles and possibly prey is fish, this view of the characteristics of the teeth. Similarly, as quoted by the Associated Press, on Friday (26/11/2010).
"Crocodiles are living on land and may be able to walk fast," said Komsom, who previously introduced fossil crocodile skull to a museum in 2006.
